ASCC’s Seniors Care Conference

As a member of the Alberta Seniors Care Coalition, the Alberta College of Family Physicians was pleased to host a joint Seniors Conference around the theme of Working Together for Seniors Care on April 25, 2015. The multi-disciplinary professional development conference provided relevant, practice-based learning sessions with a focus on senior’s health, innovative models of service delivery, dementia, palliative, and end of life care.

The conference was applicable to a variety of disciplines including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other health care professionals, and fostered collaboration among a passionate community of practice. The Conference was developed without industry support.
